Henstone Ex-Pedro Ximenez Cask Whisky is here!!

After a wait of more than three years our very limited edition ex-Pedro Ximenez cask matured whisky is available for sale. This whisky edition has the same new make base as our ex-bourbon editions but was aged in one ex-sherry firkin. This has had the desired effect of speeding up the maturation process.

The batch is limited to a total of 80 bottles of which 50 were pre-sold back in September 2018.

We have bottled this at 46% and initial feedback has been amazing……including:

“Just tasted the Pedro Ximenez. Not as heavy as the OLO but still weighty. Spicy as you’d expect from a sherry cask. Orange present again but more muted. Perhaps mandarin rather than seville.“
