On the 6th February 2022, Her Majesty became the first monarch in British history to reach a Platinum Jubilee!! To commemorate this momentous occasion we have released a Platinum Range of our Single Malt Whisky. This batch, which was matured in cask HDC0015 (ex Jim Beam), is strictly limited to 70 bottles and each will be presented in a matching engraved wooden case. The bottles, numbered 1 – 70, will be sold on a first come first served basis.

This single malt whisky, which is beautifully smooth, is mashed, distilled, aged and bottled by us here at Henstone Distillery. This expression, like all of our whiskies, has not been chill filtered or coloured.

A £5 donation from every limited edition bottle sold will be made to The Movement Centre, a UK charity and specialist treatment centre dedicated to supporting children and their families living with movement disabilities.

On the nose: Ripe red apples and cream soda. Fruit and nut mix or dairy milk fruit and nut bar!

Palate: Its deceptively smooth! Most of the action is mid tongue, lovely warmth and the nuttiness comes through over the fruit for me, quite intriguing actually. Long finish too which is great.

Summary: Its young on the nose and you can’t deny that, but it’s got layers of flavour and the finish seriously belies its age. A really impressive dram!!

The bottling ABV is 43.8%.
