Rosé Gin Serves

We love our lightly oak aged Rosé Gin and hope you do too! Of course you can drink it neat if you wish but here are a few serve suggestions if you fancy experimenting.

Preferred Serve

Ice, slice of fresh ginger, good measure of Rosé Gin and a quality ginger ale (we have found Schweppes 1783 and Fever-Tree work very well).
We also enjoy it neat over ice with a chunk of orange.

Cocktails

The Negroni

Negroni cocktailGlass: Stemless Wine Glass

Ingredients: Proper ice cubes, 25ml Rosé Gin, 25ml Campari, 25ml Martini Rosso. Method: Stir…stir…stir… adding more ice if needed. Garnish: Slice of orange

Sbagliatoto

Apparently the Italian Sbagliato originated when Prosecco was added, instead of the gin, to make a Negroni. Personally we think the only mistake was not adding the gin as well!

Glass – Champagne Flute

Ingredients: 10ml Rosé Gin, 10ml Sweet Red Vermouth, 10ml Campari, Top up with Prosecco. Garnish: Orange slice

Martinez

Martinez cocktailWe love our classic cocktails and you don’t get much more classic than a Martinez. The precursor to a martini, the cocktail is sweeter and traditionally made with old tom gin or Genever but we think it works really well with our oak aged Rosé Gin.

Glass – Martini glass

Ingredients: 35 ml Henstone Rosé Gin, 30 ml Sweet Vermouth, 10 ml Dry Vermouth, 5 ml Maraschino Cherry Liqueur, 2 dashes Angostura Bitters. Method: Mix all the ingredients with ice in a shaker and pour into a chilled glass. Garnish: Orange twist

Cherry Red Lips

Glass – Stemless Wine Glass

Ingredients: Ice, 25ml Rosé Gin, 25ml Cherry Brandy, top up with Cranberry juice. Garnish: Frozen cherries

Old Fashioned

Glass – Stemless Wine Glass

Ingredients: 25ml Henstone Rosé Gin. 1 brown sugar cube, 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters. Method: Crush sugar cube and mix, add ice, stir until ice starts to melt, add more ice, stir, add more ice, add another 25ml of Rosé Gin.
